The Huffington Post Healthy Living section has lots of “wellness” articles that point out foods we should consider eating for taste as well as our health. They recently posted November “superfoods” that are hitting their peak now, as Thanksgiving approaches. Some foods to consider are:

* Sweet Potatoes
* Cauliflower
* Cranberries
* Winter Squash
* Leeks
* Turnips

While most Thanksgiving meals traditionally include stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, and homemade pies, incorporating some of these “superfoods” into your holiday menu and everyday meals can help balance out the inevitable blitz of high fat, high calorie foods!    Huffpost Health Living   11/2/12
