and Their Relationship to Migraine Headache

Objectives: To determine if the severity of symptoms of PMDD is associated with the severity and disability of migraine headache in female migraineurs.

Conclusions: The severity of PMDD symptoms is moderately correlated with the severity and disability of migraine headache. PMDD symptoms increase shortly before the rise in the headache index during the late luteal phase. The induction of PMDD symptoms could play an important role in the severity and disability of migraine headache in female migraineurs.
