Objective: Migraine attacks are most likely to occur in early morning, when they prevent patients from assuming normal, active lifestyles. This study examines the efficacy and tolerability of sumatriptan tablets relative to the time of onset of migraine.

Conclusion: Sumatriptan tablets are effective and well tolerated for migraines with onset at any time, including morning, day, evening, or night. Sumatriptan tablets are nonsedating, allowing patients to be alert and active while helping them to rapidly resume their normal daily activities.
