Plantar Fasciitis occurs when the band of tissue on the bottom of the foot is overused, causing inflammation. A new study has found that Botox, along with stretching eases plantar fasciitis pain better than steroids do. The FDA has not yet approved Botox for this treatment.

While Botox is probably best known for smoothing out crinkles, furrows and laugh lines on the face, it’s also used in the treatment of chronic migraine. Injections into the forehead, temples, neck and surrounding areas can alleviate the frequency of migraines by relaxing muscles and calming nerve endings.
